Yesterday I met with Maureen to discuss her laptop. Looks like she's gonna check prices at work and we'll get her set up this week. I took a bunch of pics of her and I'll post a few later this week.
Everybody came home a little after 5. We hung out for a little and then the kids took off down to Harrisburg. Deb and I caught up on Stargate. I've been working on my machine for the last several days. Major blue screen problems. Chris and Mike came back and Mike stayed here last nite. We started talking about the machine and he offered his help. He used to do tech support at Earthlink. It was a big help because my XP skills are lacking. Everything is ALMOST the same, but you really have to dig for it.
Anyway...I've got it back about 90%...the last little bit looks like it's gonna be a lot of fun (insert sarcasm here).
So it's Sunday. I go to work. I head out early, because I'm sure there's gonna be a little bullshit involved in going back. Someone, usually a MDO (Manager of Daily Operations) has to approve you to come back. Well...I find him. He's a "Sunday" guy, so he's not really sure. But it turns out if you're gone for more than 21 days a nurse has to approve you. I didn't even know we had a medical unit at the facility anymore.
So I come home. Now tomorrow, I'll call the nurse, who'll look at the paper I have from the doctor and she'll say "OK, you can come back". More PBS (Postal BullShit)
So we had a little cookout here this evening. Our power dropped a few times and the net went out. It just came back, so here we are!!!
